Results after week one

Weight : stayed the same

Inches (Centimetres) lost

Upper chest 3cms
Chest 3/12 cms
waist 7cms
Hips 2 1/2 cms

Resting heart rate went from 88 (poor) to 76 (average)

Our fitness is determined by our resting heart rate level. Depending on your age and gender the exact resting heart rate you need to aim for will be different.

North London Personal Trainer Anne Iarchy takes a client on a four week fitness program to help her improve her poor resting heart rate of 88 and increase it.

Your resting heart rate is important to your fitness

Just like any of your other muscles within your body the heart responds to exercise and becomes more efficient the fitter you are, which means the fitter you are the less it needs to beat to get the same amount of blood around your body, which is good for your heart! We all know a fast beating heart isn’t something you want to walk around with every day of your life because it is just not good for you. To increase the efficiency of your heart you need to exercise which improves your resting heart rate.

Using an exercise ball to work the back of your legs and bum with personal trainer Barnet Anne Iarchy

Enjoy the North London parks for exercise

You don't have to stay at home and workout you can enjoy the North London parks for exercise and fresh air.

You can use the tree to perform 3 or 4 different leg exercises and a bench for your arm exercises.

I will create a video soon that will show you how easy it is to exercise while out enjoying mother nature.

You never need weights and a gym - just get out to a North London park and use your own body strength - and a personal trainer of course :)
